Bio-Plastics:

Once again Hemp hurd is the raw material for bio-degradeable plastic products. The Hurd is finely ground, mixed with water and compressed to produce moulded or extruded bio_plastic products.
There has been some experimental production of extruded floor and roof joists, and beams but more common examples are CD covers, credit cards and musical instruments such as guitars and digeridoos.
In fact any petroleum-based plastics can be made from hemp hurds and hemp plastic products will bio-degrade without leaving toxic residue or can be ground and recycled into new bio-plastic products.
